Happy 2025!
With only a few hours left for good ol' 2024, I wanted to express my thanks and gratitude to all of you for connecting with MattGoesRogue. 2024 has been such a busy year—one to remember for many creative achievements, new friendships and connections, personal growth, and defining what I wish to share and create with MGR.
Looking ahead to the new year, I will introduce a flexible schedule for releasing new videos on YouTube, starting with long-form podcasts on Fridays on MattGoesRogueLive. New Let’s Play sessions will land on MattGoesRogue LP, covering both AAA titles like L.A. Noire and more indie gems, with a specific focus on storytelling. Short topic videos, edited from the long-form podcasts, will drop on the main channel the following week. I will test and trial a soft schedule to see how it fits with the rest of my requirements. If successful, I’ll advertise release dates more widely - if not, I will continue releasing new videos whenever possible.
My aim for 2025 is to produce 100 hours of podcasts enriched with trailers, gameplay, and commentary. Starting this Friday, we’ll discuss exciting topics such as CineRPG, The Witcher 4, GTA 6, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and some of 2025’s most anticipated games. We’ll also have a look at VG Insights to develop a better understanding about the trends and movements in the video game industry, and what they mean for us as players and members of the community.
As life and tech issues will undoubtedly get in the way at times, I’ll ensure regular content is available. Even if I’m unable to stream live due to unforseeable circonstances, new content will premiere on the channels never -the-less.
